Is your police department leadership ready to manage an active shooter incident?  A child abduction?  If you are the Chief, are you ready?

From hazardous weather events to active shooter incidents, police agencies need to respond to crises.  Is the leadership element in your agency prepared to manage these incidents?  This course will review the characteristics of a crisis and provide a roadmap to prepare your officers, supervisors, and police executives to take command and manage these incidents to a successful resolution.

This course is targeted for police executives and those who are responsible for the training plan for their police department. Local government officials will learn how to work with their police departments.

Course Objectives:

  • List and communicate the roles of all who would be involved in resolving a crises situation
  • Develop a crisis response plan involving all who are responsible for the execution
