From hazardous weather events to active shooter incidents, police agencies need to respond to crises. Is the leadership element in your agency prepared to manage these incidents? This course equips police executives with the tools and strategies needed to prepare their patrol and supervisory staff for managing critical incidents, such as active shooter events or fleeing felons. It covers the types and characteristics of a crisis and provides a roadmap to prepare your officers, supervisors, and police executives to take command for effective incident management.
Through real-world scenarios and practical guidance, the training emphasizes proactive planning, clear communication, and decisive leadership to enhance organizational readiness and ensure effective responses during high-stakes situations.
The session’s primary audience is police executives and those who are responsible for the training plan for their police department. Local government officials will learn how to work with their police departments.
