Building Bridges: The Common Ground Approach to Collaborative Relationships for Community Safety and Solutions
90-Minute Webinar
Local municipal leaders play a critical role in fostering safe, resilient, and thriving communities. This online training equips municipal officials with the skills and strategies to build diverse, cross-sector collaboration that drives lasting peace and durable change.
The Common Ground, Multi-partial approach is to support and validate the perspectives of all parties involved. For instance, during a community dispute, local officials would listen to each side’s concerns and experiences, ensuring that everyone feels heard and respected. This approach helps build trust and encourages collaborative problem-solving
Our speaker is Will Fuller who currently serves as the Pennsylvania State Lead for Common Ground USA, focused on bringing together diverse civic sector leaders across PA to build resilience toward political violence as a foundation for durable societal change and collective problem solving. Prior to this role, he spent 7 years leading faith-based community organizing efforts in the Philadelphia suburbs.
